MTC Visitors

During the month of June newly called mission presidents and their wives enter the MTC for training. Last week Justin mentioned in his letter that he was told that the MTC would be very busy during that time and that they would have many General Authorities visiting the MTC. Here is a portion of his weekly email:

With all the mission presidents here we had some big names at the MTC. On Friday we had a special devotional given by Elder Dallin H Oaks. Elder Holland, Richards, Scott, Bednar, Anderson, Cook, Nelson, and Christofferson were also on the stage at the devotional. Elder Oaks gave a pretty basic lesson about the restoration but it was good. So on Sunday the first presidency was here. They went to sacrament meeting with all the new mission presidents.

Another experience that Justin is having is Day Light Savings Time:

I wake up at 5:30 Arizona time and go to bed at 9:30 Arizona time......Something just isn’t right about that. That is way too early for me. But I have been keeping on schedule by the time 10:30 rolls around I want to get some shut eye. One weird thing about being here is that it is still light outside when I head to my room at night.. At 9:30 at night it is still light outside. I guess I am experiencing daylight savings time!
