I Am Thankful

I am so blessed. We are all so blessed. The Lord has given us so much. He is always there prompting and guiding us in the right path. The miracle that we have seen with Dad is amazing. I am grateful for that. I am extremely grateful. I am grateful for every single member of our family, for our friends, for nature, for animals, for everything. The Lord really has given us everything and everything testifies of his existence. I am so grateful for the opportunities that the Lord has given me in my life. To serve, to live, to laugh, to cry, to grow. I am grateful for my body. It is amazing that right now I am typing this email with my fingers. I could go on and on about all that I am thankful for but I know that we show and express the depths of our gratitude by the goodness and measures of our lives. I want to do just that. I want to show the Lord I am thankful by the way I live. I love Luke 17:11 - 19. Let’s be like the leper that came back and thanked Jesus. I love this Gospel and I know that it is true. With every passing day of my mission I grow more aware of the role the Savior plays in my everyday life. I hope that you all have a great Thanksgiving and take a moment and thank the Lord for all that we have.

Service

We are tearing out the ground in a members house. Let me just tell you our foundations in American homes are a lot better!

Their cat kept  getting in the wheelbarrow where we put all of the foundation after we tore it up.

Potatoes

We bought 80 kilograms of potatoes for a member. She gave us money and we went to a house in the neighborhood that was selling potatoes and put them in a wheelbarrow and pushed them back  up a little hill to  her house.  One  Kilo is 2.2 pounds so do the math (176 pounds). That is a TON of Potatoes!!!
