Life at the MTC

We heard from Elder Larimore via email this afternoon. He is serving in an MTC district with 10 missionaries. Half of his district will be serving in the Baltic States, one sister will be serving in Russia and one elder will be serving in another mission in Ukraine. Elder Larimore and his companion are the only ones going to Kyiv in his district. Here are some of the fun parts of his letter...

" Hello!! So I have been here for a week and it has been awesome. The days seem like they are blending together. Well a typical day at the MTC is waking up by 6:30....we usually are up by 6:00. At 7:00 we have breakfast until 7:30 then it is gym time. After gym we head to class. At 11:30 we head to lunch. We then have class for a few hours until dinner at 4:30. After dinner we have class again. We are constantly learning! From 9:00-9:25 we plan for the next day, from 9:30-10:15 we get ready for bed, then 10:15-10:30 is quite time."

"I am so happy that I was switched to Russian speaking but it freaked me out when they told me. I walked in and they pulled me to the side and asked if I was aware that my call could be switched, I was thinking I was going to be reassigned to Boise or something, then they said I had been changed to Russian. I was so happy!"

"Thank you for all the letters and packages. It seriously feels like Christmas, it is so exciting to see what I am going to get."

Thank you for your continued prayers and love as Elder Larimore Serves the Lord. If you are interested in writing Elder Larimore please see the link to DearElder on the sidebar. They will print your message and send it to the MTC the same day.
