Kyiv Center Independence Square

The Independence Square, or Maidan Nezalezhnosti, is the central square in Kyiv, the main and the most beautiful one. Parades, concerts, festivals and other city arrangements and holidays take place on this square.

Kyiv Opera House

My district went to the Nutcracker ballet at the Kyiv Opera House. They show the Nutcracker year round here, it was a lot of fun. It was only 40 griven which is like $5. It was well worth it.

Southern Fried Chicken

We had a fried chicken party at my apartment and a bunch of missionaries came over. Elder Sorenson did the cooking!!! It was really good I learned the secret to making Southern Fried Chicken. The key is a ton and I mean a ton of oil!
